Green Tea Souffle Cheesecake.
Made one small and one larger cake.
The larger cake was for a friend whose birthday happen to be on the Lunar New Year. It was my first trial at baking using water bath. Took an hour for the each cake to be ready. The larger cake was baked first, and didn't turn out as well as I kept opening the oven door to check on the cake.
The smaller cake was much better, except when I tried to remove it from the cake mould, the top layer was stuck to the cooling tray used. Hence the half peeled appearance.
Almond cookies. Also another first.
Results was not as good as what I had expected. Tasted a bit like the chinese "hap tou sou" biscuits.
Have always liked walnut cakes. This time I tried out a new recipe. The cake turned out to be light and fluffy with a slight tinge of sweetness. Excellent for afternoon tea.
Made a couple of chocolate cupcakes (see in the background). It's a hot favorite with some of my friends.
